went to pevensey marsh , the lamb inn and that has to be the worst sunday roast i have ever tasted ! the food was just heated up and the potatoes were luke warm and tasted heated up along with the rest and it was horrible! the yorkshire was out the oven but i guess that only takes a few mins but the rest was a big disappointment .i have been advised by a member of staff that i no who used to work there that the food is frozen but u would think a big country pub like that would be fresh but what a let down! my boyfriend left most of his . we did get asked if we wanted a pudding on the house but after the dinner we didn’t want to chance it and didn’t get offered anything off . don’t think we will be going back there again .

Visited with 4 friends for lunch. Greeted by friendly staff. Given plenty of time to peruse menu. Excellent service with food and drinks. Finished off with coffee and mini pudding selection. Looking forward to return visit. Highly recommended

Stop for lunch today at the lamb pevensey bay battle a259 ordered the pork belly Sunday roast pork was nice all the veg was just reheated did advise the staff to which they just said oh I will tell them not sure would go again after All how easy is it to have fresh veg they did ask would you like a free deserts but after the dinner though they was probable be frozen lol my advise go earlier and pop round corner to the pub in hooe much nicer

Met up with family at The Green Man Longfield Hill. Had a good meal served by friendly staff. Sheila in particular was good at checking everything was ok for us. Good value.

The Malt Shovel Uxbridge. Leaving lunch for 17 people was good. Outside area was reserved for us. Staff are friendly, direct and efficient. Food is of good quality and no problems with ordering or service. Music a little loud and noisy in the bar area and more for the staff than customers. No hand sanitiser on exit to outside area. Reasonably priced and acceptable quality compared to most pubs in the area so overall very good 4/5 rating. We have been coming here and avoiding other pubs for numerous company meals for the reasons outlined. It would be good to have more choice in Uxbridge but this is a safe choice for us and others that use the pub frequently.

Entered not the best of reception sat down drinks arrived in a timely manner.
There were 3 of us in the party 2 ordered sirloin steaks 1 well done 1 medium the person ordered fish and chips .
Steaks 1 under cooked blood still showing steak approx 2 inch thick ,2nd steak flat more like leather both not to order, fish chips were eaten before we had are 2nd choice meal ,asked to see the manager not avalable ask the supervisor for the managers name it's Ian and refused to give is surname which is above the door .
Won't be back there again paid and went a close buy eatery. In normanton on soar

Unprofessional, poor clueless service from COLNEY FOX pub. This chain of pubs is a shambolic disaster for customers. UNFIT FOR PURPOSE

Met with friends at The Otter in Kegworth yesterday, and had excellent service from Melanie, an asset to the place.

Table of 6, waited 30 mins from sitting to be asked what we wanted to order. After another 30 minutes had to ask where the starters were, then waited another 45 mins for the mains to arrive once the starters were cleared. Took over 2 hours for 2 courses. Had to go to the bar for all the drinks the service was so poor. Food really poor quality, menu claim King Prawns, more like shrimp, ... pork belly was like a piece of rubber could barley cut through it, no crackling as described, black pudding mash was mash - no black pudding in sight. Unfortunately the worst quality of service and food i experienced for maybe ever! Wont be going back for sure.

Having received a reminder email that my pizza offer was about to expire, we booked a table at The Angel in Broomfield.

We arrived & were shown to a table & given menus. There was a good choice of pizza's and a couple were listed on the blackboard.

Having made our choice, I went to the bar to place our order. I was then advised we could not order pizza's as they had no dough!? How hard is it to knock up a bit of pizza dough? Why were we not told on our arrival? Why was I sent an email reminder for the Angel when they weren't taking pizza orders?!!!

Needless to say my wife & I left and had a very enjoyable Chinese meal instead with all options on the menu available!

Vintage Inn Weston Turville.
Went today for Fathers Day lunch. Table booked for 12.45.
On arrival we were given specific menus for the day. The cider two of our party asked for was not available. At less than an hour into service, one of the starters was unavailable. One of the party ordered the burger but arrived with the outside cremated. Was told it could be replaced but would take 15/20 minutes! By the time we went to order dessert, less than 3 hours into the lunchtime service, 3, yes 3 of the 6 desserts listed were not available!! Just a joke. One of the duty managers was less than impressed with our disappointment and came up with some excuse that they were busy. It father’s day, what did she expect? Wouldn’t recommend going here on any busy day. You wont even get the choices listed on the reduced menu. God knows how they cope with the full menu.

Don’t understand why since our local vintage inn has been refurbished that mini desserts and coffee have been stopped, also sliced Turkey in a roast dinner. We went every Sunday for years Also taking friends and family during the week. As you get older a mini dessert was perfect for smaller appetite. So we don’t go often and no dessert, so less money spent. We live in a high number of OAPs. You are missing a trick there.

The Drum Inn - Great food, lovely staff, really enjoyed our visit.

Appualling was charged twice room was unfit for purpose windows fulling out was so hot in room and charged 7.80 for 2 bottles of water still waiting after 7 days for refund now have intrest on credit card appualling company

Received a voucher for 2 pizzas at the Trent Lock Sawley, great pizzas and service was lovely n professional, nothing too much trouble.
Been for a couple meals at Trent Lock, each time the food nservice was excellent.
Our waitress was efficient n kind.
